This advisory provides information for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewal applicants who received permission to travel outside of the United States. This permission to travel and return to the same status is called “advance parole.” We also discuss best practices for DACA recipients filing for renewal who previously traveled with advance parole or who hope to do so in the future.
